Silicon Valley Technology Exploring Tour

July 22 – August 2, 2019

Members of the champion, the first runner-up and the second runner-up teams of 2019 STEM Robotics Competition will receive subsidy to participate in the “Silicon Valley Technology Exploring Tour”.

In addition to the competition winners, there will be 8 CUHK Electronic Engineering students joining this non-traditional active learning activity. Participating students will have the opportunity to visit large corporates like Google and Cisco, learn the latest research of Stanford University, and experience the work environment of technology start-ups, and face-to-face interact with leading technologists and entrepreneurs. Students will work in groups to analyze and solve specific problems posed by the host companies. Prior to the tour, a series of seminars and workshops on technology innovation will be arranged for the participating students.

The learning activities are designed, steered and led by Silicon Valley veteran entrepreneurs and professors from CUHK Electronic Engineering. The CUHK Silicon Valley Alumni Association will provide assistance and advice on local arrangement.
